Mickelson was defeated in playoff at Scottish Open

Gregory Havret defeated world No. 3 Phil Mickelson last Sunday while at the Scottish Open.

Havret won a total purse of $1,005,950 as a place in the next tournament the British Open to be held at Carnoustie.

Right at the 16th, Havret saw his three-stroke lead disappear, while Mickelson appeared back on course for his anticipated victory. This one has summoned a total of 34 throughout his professional career since he started back in 1993.

Havret’s previous tour win was at the 2001 Italian Open "It's just a dream - I can't say more," Havret said.
