Tiger Woods’ wife is expecting their first child for this summer

Woods and his wife married last October 2004, and Woods had stated he wanted children sooner instead of later.

Woods the world's No. 1 player, will not be present at the season-opening Mercedes-Benz Championship next week in Maui.

Tiger mentioned how happy he is to start a family, saying, "As some of you know, today is my 31st birthday, and the couple is expecting their first child together this summer.

It might be that we will not see much of Woods for the upcoming championships, but we are certain he will come right back on the golf course by the end of the year.
